All processes of obtaining new licenses for the establishment of private institutions of higher learning in Niger state will close by the end of September, an official confirms.
Director Tertiary Ministry of Tertiary Education Science and Technology Hajiya Aminat Gogo stated this in a statement issued to Minna on Thursday.
This includes institutions earlier given provisional approval but had yet to complete the licensing process to the point of collection.
“Against this background, the authorities of institutions that have yet to conclude the processes and are still genuinely interested are advised to expedite actions in that direction to beat the deadline,” the statement said.
Gogo explained that the ministry remained resolute in maintaining high standards of quality in institutions of higher learning in the state.
