At least 12 ISWAP leaders have been killed in the last one week by the Nigerian military.
April 6 was 'end game' for Abu-Rabi, Muhammed Likita and their bodyguards as they were killed by Nigerian airstrikes. They were eliminated at Kusuma, Sigir in Ngala and Arijallamari in Abadam Local Government Areas of Borno State.
Similarly, Ameer Umar, Abu Ubaida and Abu Salim and three other commanders were killed by forces by Nigerian forces on April 10.
They were ambushed around Wulgo, Logomania axis, near Nigeria’s border with Cameroon while attempting to attack locals and rustle cows.
Other operations conducted by the military at Tudun Wulgo, Zari, Tumbun Alhaji, Kusuma, Sigir in Ngala and Arijallamari, in Abadam, Marte and Ngala Local Government Areas led to the death of Mohammad Fulloja, Ameer Mallam Bello, Ba’a kaka Tunkushe, Abu Muktar Al-Ansari, Ameer Abba Kaka, Abu Huzaifa and Ameer Modu Kwayem.
