Three International Airports in Nigeria have received preferred bidders under Nigeria’s Airport Concession Programme NACP.

The three Airports are, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport NAIA Abuja which has Corporation America Airports Consortium as the preferred bidder with ENL Consortium limited selected as the reserve bidder for the NAIA.

 

The preferred bidder for Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos is TAV/NASCO/PROJECT PLANET LIMITED Consortium, with Sifax/Changi Consortium as the reserve bidder.

 

Also, Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, MAKIA, Kano, has Corporacion America Airports Consortium as its preferred bidder without any reserve bidder.

 

 The Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika who disclosed this while briefing Journalists in Abuja noted that Port Harcourt International Airport, PHIA, did not receive any proposal till the close of the deadline, adding that, it has not had preferred and reserve bidders attached to it.

 

The Minister said the next stage of the concession programme is detailed negotiations and due diligence between the Nigerian government and the preferred bidders to develop a full business case for onward transmission and approval to the Infrastructure Concentration Regularly Commission ICRC.
