Former Information Commissioner under Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Adaze Enwanta had challenged the Governor to give an account of trillions of naira accruable to the state since 2016.

The once ally of Godwin Obaseki also berated him for alleged imposition of candidates and destruction of the People's Democratic party PDP in the state, accusing him of now occupying the position of a godfather.

 

 Emwanta who pinched tent with Labour party on Wednesday in Benin city poked his grievances against Governor Godwin Obaseki , a man he once refered to as the best Governor.

 

In his words; "In 2020, when the governor came into the PDP, we had people like the Dan Orbihs and the others, but because of lack of relationship skills these people have been ostracized from the party; little wonder the party performed abysmally. The time for propaganda and MOUs is over.

 

It would leave Edo people, his friends, his former employers, and supporters in the lurch, after a remark was credited to a former commissioner, Hon Andrew Adaze Emwanta.

 

Whether you have been for or against Governor Obaseki, supporters will be united in their overwhelming belief that Hon Andrew Emwanta should sincerely bury his fat face in shame over his dig at the governor.

 

There is no much reason to doubt the words of Emwanta, since as an insider he is in a better position to know more on how the governor had fared the past six years

 

But it should also be stated that he was an active part of that government and can not been seen now to be cajoling the society after resigning his membership in less than a month and crossing the road to Labour Party.
