Ex-Governors pension retirement benefits: Activist call out Oshiomole, Akpabio, Others
Global President of One Love Foundation and Human Right Activist, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal has called out Former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole and other Ex-Governors for receiving retirement and pension benefits while already in the Senate.
Eholor who spoke with our reporter via telephone on Wednesday said, "Why are you receiving pension and you are a Senator. Are you going to be having double pension? Do you know what pension is?

According to him , Pension is the money paid to already retired worker from what he or she contributed while at the office. However, "CSOs are not living up to expectation including media", many of their rights are being denied.

"You didn't do anything Oshiomole. You claim you were for the people and from NLC. You rode on the back of the people to become who you are today. Therefore, you must be receiving benefits on the detriment of the people" He said

He stated that none of the Ex-Governors  deserves retirement plan because they are still serving as Senators.

He further said "if you don't monitor these political criminals in Senate and House of Reps, allow them appoint Judges or make decisions or law, you can never get justice because they feel they are above the law" In one of statements, he said "CSOs are now used as attack dogs by the same politicians and have left what they should be fighting for on behalf of the suffering citizens."

He noted that the supposed Senators are not carrying out their political functions to their state.

He observed that there are several cases of Kidnapping, banditry, unemployment among other vices in the country.

Eholor said government should change the narrative and have a part time legislature, while stressing the need for the legislators to reduce their convoys.

Eholor however applauded the former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel and the Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki for rejecting retirement benefits from government who described it as an act of fraud.

"Every activist should caution Governors to stop receiving any pension including the president."

He however urged the youths to stop henceforth in condoling lapses from  political leaders especially those that have not been representing their interest.
