The Group CEO of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe has been listed among the fatalities of a helicopter crash in California, USA on Friday night.

Also mentioned to be among the fatalities are his wife and son as well as Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).

The crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Friday night, a statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said Saturday.

"The scene of the crash was determined to be east of the 15-Freeway, near Halloran Springs Road," the statement added. "We are not able to confirm how many people were on board or their names. No survivors have been located."

According to New York Times, "it was unclear on Saturday morning where the helicopter departed from and where it was headed."

The FAA identified the helicopter as a Eurocopter EC 130. Investigations are ongoing.
