The former Secretary General of the Inter Party Advisory Council ( IPAC) in Ondo State, Mr Israel Ayeni, has urged those aggrieved over the outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly elections not to be disruptive in airing their grievances.

Ayeni, who spoke media on Wednesday in Akure, advised such people to follow the laid down process in seeking redress.
He urged other presidential candidates in the Feb. 25 elections to be civil in addressing their grievances against the declaration of winner of the election, Sen. Bola Tinubu.
The former IPAC scribe enjoined dissatisfied candidates to file their claim in the law courts which they believed in, embrace peace and maintain tranquility as signed in the Peace Accord.
According to him, it is part of the political game for grievances to be aired by other candidates.
Ayeni said that presidential candidates were expected to call their followers to order to ensure the protection of lives, property and integrity of the country.
He observed that any error noticed by them could be addressed through laid dawn rules and regulations without opting for violence.
“Other African countries and the world at large have high expectations on Nigeria, and we serve as role model for many nations, hence we can’t afford to jeopardise our national dignity at this point,” he said.
Ayeni asked the president-elect to yield appropriately to Nigerians’ yearnings for a better country.
“ I urge the president-elect to know expectations of Nigerians: good governance and true dividend of democracy, adequate security, solutions to the high rate of unemployment, economy standardisation.
“There is need for agricultural revolution, industrial revolution, improved science and technology, adequate infrastructure, and unity among Nigerians, as such, I encourage His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure he meets up the expectations of Nigerians, “ he stated.
Ayeni asked the president-elect to ensure that Nigerians’ votes were duly and fully respected.
“You would be remembered for whatever legacy you achieve.
“Nigeria needs a good and true leader, an active president, a true father-patriot to the nation, a genuine democrat, an intellectual revolutionist , and an absolute developer.
“One who would transform Nigeria and her political system into a world class competition.
“It is believed that Nigerians have a huge trust in you for this was the reason you have been voted in,” he stated.
He encouraged the incoming president to run an all-inclusive administration.
“Remember, you’re not the president of your voters but that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, do ensure that your opponents do not feel inferior in your government, if necessary, fix them in befitting positions for a smooth run of your administration.
“Ensure that you fulfill your promises to Nigerians and posterity shall remember you for your good deeds decades after your administration,” he stated.
