On Wike Suspension: The quietness of the party is not weakness...Bwala

Dr. Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council during the 2023 presidential election has said that the quietness of the People's Democratic party is not weakness, adding that the party knows what it is doing.

Bwala said at the appropriate time, he (Wike) would not only be suspended but expelled.

Bwala who said Nigerians should take his words on Wike to the bank, said that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will be expelled from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) when the time is right.

Bwala made this statement during an appearance on the Politics Today program on Channels Television.

This comes after Wike openly supported the election of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and accepted a ministerial role in his cabinet, prompting calls for his suspension or expulsion from the PDP.

While acknowledging Wike’s capabilities, Bwala criticized him for acting as a “glorified commissioner” and trying to assert the powers of a state governor.

He also cautioned Wike against threatening to demolish structures belonging to his political opponents in the FCT and urged him to address other issues, including structures in Aso Rock and military barracks, that were not originally part of the FCT Master Plan.
