Edo PDP Crisis: Ex-Works Minister, Onolememen Dumps PDP, Gives Reason

Former Minister of Works and a chieftain of the People's Democratic party, (PDP) Chief Mike Onolememen has resigned his membership from the party.

He sent his resignation letter to the chairman of the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Tony Aziegbemi.

In the letter, he said he is no longer interested in being a member of the crisis bedevilled party.

Onolememen, who has been a founding member of the PDP since 1998, gave reasons for leaving the party, which he said the state governor, Godwin Obaseki has taken as his private property.

In the letter which was also made available to journalists and addressed to the state chairman and copied the acting national chairman, LGA and ward chairman, the former minister of state for Defense did not tell where he was heading yet.
