The Imo State Collation Centre in Owerri, the state capital, was thrown into disarray as two party agents exchanged blows as monitored live television broadcast on Sunday.
The collation, led by the returning officer, Prof Abayomi Fasina, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University in Oye, Ekiti, began at 2:40am on Sunday.
The process, which commenced amidst party agent protests, has been marred by controversies since it started.
