Edo state governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Dennis Idahosa has submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms. 

Hon. Idahosa, who spoke with journalists after submitting the forms at the party’s national secretariat on Friday in Abuja, said his administration, if given the party’s ticket and eventually elected, will tackle insecurity head-on

The House of Reps member also promised to grant autonomy to the Local Government Councils by ensuring that what is appropriated for the council duly gets to them.

“I have made it clear to my Edo people that I will take care of the issue of insecurity in my state by collaborating with all the security agencies across the state.

“Also I will ensure that local government autonomy is granted so that the money appropriated for them would be used in the various local government areas. 

“The state government is currently having issues with traditional institutions, but under my watch as a governor of Edo by the grace of God, I will ensure that we protect and respect our traditional institutions”, he said.

Hon. Idahosa expressed confidence that APC would reclaim Edo State come September 21st when the governorship election will be held.
