Re-run Elections in Plateau State:  ADP Commends INEC, Governor Mutfwang, Security Agencies

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) has commended the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for the successful conduct of the just concluded rerun election in Jos North Senatorial District.

Engr. Yabagi Yusuf Sani, National Chairman of the party in a press statement personally signed said the party is pleased to note that the election was free, fair, credible, and peaceful, and commends INEC for its dedication to upholding the democratic process.

According to him, "The ADP is also grateful for the exemplary leadership and statesmanship demonstrated by the Plateau State Governor, H.E. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, in ensuring peace and stability during the electoral process. 

"The party recognizes the governor's efforts in fostering an environment conducive to peaceful elections and extends its appreciation for his commitment to the well-being of the people of Plateau State.

Engr. Yabagi further said the ADP acknowledged and commend the efforts of the Police and other Security Agencies for their exemplary role in ensuring the peaceful conduct of the election. 

"The party recognizes the crucial role played by these agencies in maintaining law and order and expresses gratitude for their dedication to ensuring a secure electoral environment.

"The ADP is also pleased to congratulate the good people of Jos North Senatorial District, as well as all its supporters and support groups, for their active participation in the electoral process. 

"The party appreciates the overwhelming support shown for Prince Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang, the ADP candidate, and extends its gratitude to the constituents for their confidence and trust.

"The ADP assures the people of Plateau North Senatorial District, Plateau State, and Nigeria of effective representation at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly. 

"The party is committed to the task of building a peaceful, united, and progressive Nigeria and pledges to work tirelessly for the betterment of the nation.
