LP Crisis: Abure must go, LP Chieftain canvasses ... Expresses Disappointment in Peter Obi and Datti

The crisis rocking the leadership of the Labour Party (LP) has taken a new twist as the President of the One Love Foundation, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor (a.k.a Ultimate Equal), who is also the party’s Director of Diaspora Mobilisation, has joined force with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to call for the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Barrister Julius Abure.

According to Chief Eholor, “Labour Party belongs to everyone and not to some set of persons. I’m currently in touch with NLC President, Joe Ajaero, discussing this issue.

“Barrister Julius Abure no doubt is my friend and a brother, but then it is time to say goodbye to that position. The Chairmanship position of LP is not hereditary. Live and let others live too.

“We are not asking for too much things. Julius Abure must go! I want to quickly say that Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed have not lived up to expectations in this aspect.

“As the head of LP I was expecting them both to call Barrister Julius Abure to order ever since but they kept mute like nothing has happened. Peter Obi should postpone and null the illegal Congress that was done by Julius Abure!”
