Thomas Tuchel has finally broken his silence since his sacking; he released an emotional message after his sacking.

In the statement on Twitter, he wrote: 'This is one of the most difficult statements I have ever had to write - and it is one which I hoped I would not need to do for many years. I am devastated that my time at Chelsea has come to an end.

'This is a club where I felt at home, both professionally and personally. Thank you so much to all the staff, the players and the supporters for making me feel very welcome from the start.

Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he was 'devastated' by sudden  sack by Chelsea in a statement he described as one of the most 'difficult' he's ever had to write.

The German manager after leaving French giants PSG in similar fashion later went on to guide Chelsea to the Champions League in 2021 and the FIFA world club cup trophy and other championship finals.

His sacking by the Chelsea on Wednesday, following their 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA  champions  league clash.

Chelsea spent over £260million on new players over the summer, including the likes of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and defenders Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana.

Tuchel leaves Chelsea winning only a handful of their Premier League games this season and then an opening careless loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League led to Brighton's boss Graham Potter, hired to replace the German gaffer and paid £13million as a severance package, with a further £2m going to his backroom staff.
