As the team continue to prepare for the 2023 African Nations Cup qualifier against Tanzania, the head coach of Nigeria's Dream Team, Salisu Yusuf has named Success Makanjuola as the captain.

Former Water FC player hit the limelight in Nigeria football following his amazing performance with the Flying Eagles team at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland under coach Paul Aigboun.

Despite Nigeria not going far in the competition, Makanjuola's performance earned him a move to the Spanish side CD Leganes.

The 21-year-old CD Diocesano attacker was among the ten foreign players invited by Salisu to beef up the team ahead of today's important game in Dar e Salam.

Salisu just before the game on Saturday announced Makanjuola as the captain of the team.

The first leg of the Second Round of the CAF U23 African Nations Cup qualifier against Tanzania is slated for 4:00 pm local in Dare Salam (4PM Nigeria time) with the reverse fixture coming up in Nigeria next weekend at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
