Brazil have named their 26-man squad for the Qatar World Cup and it includes a host of Premier League stars.

Selecao coach Tite named his squad on Monday with notable omissions for Premier League duo Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Magalhaes - while Philippe Coutinho had already been ruled out due to injury.

 

However, PSG star Neymar is part of the squad and will be looking to make history in Qatar by becoming the nation's top goalscorer of all-time. 

 

Arsenal duo Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, Chelsea's Thiago Silva, Manchester United's Casemiro, Fred and Antony, Liverpool's Fabinho and Spurs' Richarlison are just a few of the talents flying over from England.

 

West Ham's Lucas Paqueta and Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes are both part of the squad having excelled in their next teams this year.

 

Premier League goalkeeping duo Alisson and Ederson both make the squad and are joined by Palmeiras shot-stopper Weverton.

 

 39-year-old football veteran Dani Alves makes the squad as he continues to ply his trade for Mexican side Pumas.

 

Real Madrid and Barcelona wingers Vincius Jr and Raphinha are also part of the Selecao team for Qatar after impressing in LaLiga this season. 

 

Manchester United winger Antony shared the heartwarming moment that he - and his family - found out that he'd been included in the squad.

 

The former Ajax star shared a video on social media sat with his family - all dressed in Manchester United tops though Antony is in a Brazil shirt - awaiting the announcement.

 

Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes had a similar reaction which was also shared onto social media.
