*2023 PFA Games Set to Kick off, November 28 as Organizer Conducts Draws

Leading up to the commencement of the 2023 edition of the Pension Find Administrator Games, participants are gearing up to surpass each other in the competition.

The event, slated to run from November 28 to December 2, 2023, will feature six pension fund teams: Trust Fund Pension, FCMB Pension, Premium Pension, Norrenberger Pension, Nupemco Pension, and Tangerine Apt Pension.

The six pension fund teams are set to compete in seven sporting events: Football (7-aside), Volleyball, Table Tennis, Snooker, Scrabble, Chess, and Team Bonding Games.

In anticipation of the kickoff, tournament organizer Oladapo Oluwatope emphasized the importance of teams understanding the competition rules. He highlighted the necessity of discussing the tournament modalities during the upcoming press conference and discussions.

"I'm delighted that we have the brainstorming sessions to address any uncertainties before the competition. It would have been imprudent to enter the championship without thorough dialogue on the mode of operation. Now, everyone is familiar with the rules and regulations, ensuring a fair playing field with no room for complaints."

Mr. Tobi Ifabiyi, a representative of Let's Play Naija and a partner for PFA Games, expressed excitement about this year's Team Bonding Games. He mentioned that they are introducing new innovations to make the games more interesting. Having been part of the last edition, he emphasized their goal to enhance team bonding, challenge participants' intellectual capacity, and create a fun-filled atmosphere during the games.

"Having participated in the previous edition of the PFA Games, we are enhancing the games to foster team bonding, stimulate participants' intellectual capacities, and ensure a lively and enjoyable atmosphere."

FCMB Pension, the defending champions, are aiming to secure the trophy again, facing competition and threats from other pension fund administrators' teams.
