Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye led Nigeria Premier Football League will be meeting with the twenty NPFL clubs participating in the country topmost league next week.

This was revealed by the chairman of the board, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye while featuring in an online weekly interview session on a WhatsApp group, Sports World.

He said the League body is set to hold a meeting with club Chairmen in Abuja next week where they would decide the sharing formula on the percentage meant for the participating clubs.

The former Director General of National Sports Commission also talked on the board transparency and security in the administration of the league so as to attract more sponsors.

He therefore clarified that the club Chairmen have a percentage of the sponsorship deal and they will be the one to decide the sharing formula at their next meeting in Abuja.

“We are having a meeting next week with all the club Chairmen in Abuja and from there, everybody will know what due to them as we have percentage agreement to what goes to club on percentage basis and this will be discussed at the meeting next week. My words of assurance is that everybody will get their share a day or two after the meeting next week” .
