Antonio Conte could become the new Tottenham Hotspur manager, with the former Chelsea boss reportedly in 'advanced talks' to replace Jose Mourinho.
Spurs have been without a permanent boss since they sacked Jose Mourinho in April, and with the start of the transfer window looming and a new season just around the corner they are in desperate need to appoint somebody soon.
The north London club were linked with a surprise return for Mauricio Pochettino, who was the man in charge before Mourinho, but now it looks like it'll be Conte.
The development is not unconnected to PSG unwillingness to let Pochettino go, having triggered a clause in his contract which would keep him with the Ligue 1 club until 2023.
According to Sky Italia, the Spurs and Conte are in 'advanced talks' over the Italian moving back to London to take the vacant role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 51-year-old left Inter Milan last week, just weeks after leading the Nerazzurri to their first Serie A title in 11 years, because of the club's financial problems.
There was also talk that he might take over from Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid but Los Blancos have gone back to Carlo Ancelotti.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it is looking increasingly likely that Conte could be the next man in the hotseat unless something dramatic changes in Pochettino's situation.
On paper Conte certainly looks an exciting choice for Spurs, with the 51-year-old having won the Serie A title with Inter Milan last season.
He also tasted success with Chelsea during a two-year spell in England between 2016-18, winning the Premier League in his first season and the FA Cup in his second.
