Super Eagles head coach, Austin Cerezo Eguavoen has called on Nigeria football fans to turn up in their large numbers to come cheer the team to victory in Tuesday high profile world cup qualifying match billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
In a world press conference held at the media center of the stadium on Monday, Eguavoen maintained that the fans support is very crucial to the team quest to overcoming the Black Stars of Ghana.
"We need the fans to come out in their large numbers to our team. We cannot do it alone. We need all Nigerian: the fans, the journalist all stakeholders to come out and help us achieve the goal which is to qualify for the world cup.
The Super Eagles chief coach debunked every allegation that he is under tremendous pressure to deliver considering that expectation is so high from him, "I am not under any pressure to deliver. I know what is expected of me and I know that the goal is for us to qualify for the world cup"
Speaking on the fitness level of Spanish based Samuel Chukwueze and Innocent Bonke who plies his trade in the French league one who were both starched off during the first leg match in Kumasi, Eguavoen could not give any assurance of their fitness level ahead of the second leg but maintained that he expects to receive full medical report by 9pm this evening to be sure if they would be part of the team for the match.
