Donatus Ejidike, Nigeria Pillar of Sports, has donated 2000 tickets for Nigerian fans to watch the Nigeria/Ghana 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup playoff match scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja.

The philanthropist told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the gesture was meant to ensure more Nigerian fans in the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, for the crucial clash.

 

He then urged fans to come out in their large numbers to support the Super Eagles so as to pick the Qatar World Cup ticket.

 

“At this crucial time, what the Super Eagles desire is support from all of us till the last minute of their second leg encounter with the Black Stars of Ghana.

 

“I urge the football-loving Nigerians to rally around them by coming out massively to watch the match at the stadium,” he said.

 

He also advised the team to go all out for victory in order to put smiles on the faces of millions of football-loving Nigerian fans.

 

NAN reports that the Super Eagles will have to beat the Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday to secure a ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup slated for Nov. 21 to Dec. 18.

 

Both teams had on Friday in Kumasi played a 0-0 draw in the fixture’s opening leg.
