3rd term denial story:Sports Diva, Ronke says Pinnick is manipulating Nigerians
NFF president, Amaju Pinnick

Nigeria Sports Diva, Ronke Ogunleye-Bello has warned Nigerians against taken the words of the President of Nigeria Football, Amaju Pinnick - that he has dropped any plan for a 3rd term in office - serious.

The news of Amaju Pinnick jettisoning his 3rd term agenda following calls from stakeholders on him to resign after Super Eagles failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar went viral on Friday.

But in a swift reaction, Ronke warned Nigerians to be very careful in taking the words of the Delta born football administrator serious stressing that the reason he gave for dumping the the 3rd term bid is his normal sing tune.

Ronke said, “Pinnick once told me at some point that he will not run for second term as NFF President because the wahala of football is too much (Giwa period), he sighted the same thing that his family misses him and also that, they are not happy about the never-ending crisis. He is saying the same thing today……my family said this and that. You guys should note it down oo?

“That day, I yinmu’ to him. I recall, we stood by his bulletproof vehicle at the old glass house. He tried to shalaye (explain) taya.

“Same thing, I bumped into him on a flight from Abuja to PH…. and he shalayed (explained) himself all through trying to convince me, he showed me some papers, sure he made some points…….cant even be saying things he mentioned here, some are funny, some are unnecessary, a lot of which are lies.

“Hey, I am a sports stakeholder, a very solid one at that. We know EVERY EVERY.

“Pinnick is not giving up that third term bid. He speaks from both sides of the mouth. He is over ambitious. NFF Presidency gives him the clout and pay his bills, or else dude will have to start all over again.

“You guys don’t know anything about your destiny child. He only said that to douse the tensed atmosphere and distract people from the news of Nigeria’s demand for his resignation.

The multi award winning Ronke Bello maintained that the originator of the story was ordered to release the part of third term bid to distract people from the news making the rounds about his resignation. “Let’s continue to demand for his resignation. This story is a plan/propaganda to shift our focus from the main issue….”
