Enyimba FC of Aba were held to a goalless draw by Nasarawa United in the Match Day 28 Nigeria Premier League match played at the Aba Township, Aba.

Enugu Rangers also came out with a point at Dakada FC. With the exception of those two results every other home side came away with the maximum three points.

Kano Pillars' defeat in a Northwest derby with Jigawa Golden Stars saw them drop a step further to No 3 on the league table, while Nasarawa United assumed their former position at second spot.

Rivers United maintained fourth place and both Kwara United and Enyimba have their positions unchanged - fifth and sixth respectively.

In the danger zone, FC Ifeanyi Ubah climbed to the top of the bottom four, just as Sunshine Stars swapped their 19th spot with Warri Wolves, formerly at No.18.
