Manchester United's new star and opening goal scorer against arsenal Antony has hit out at the agency claiming a bonus for his huge move to Old Trafford.
After moving from ajax for a huge £85.5million transfer fee to Manchester United on deadline day, and signing a five-year contract with the Red Devils, several parties have been trying to claim credit for transfer success.
Forza Sports Group, owned by Revien Kanhai, took to social media to claim they played a key role in the transfer while the Brazilian's agent, Junior Pedroso, debunked their claim, saying he holds the controlling influence in the deal.
Pedroso was pictured shaking hands with Antony at Carrington after the transfer was completed.
Both parties want to be credited with the 22-year-old's deal as it will see them earn the £20m bonus payment that is associated with pushing the deal, which was months in the making, over the line.
Antony has set the record straight, stating how the transfer deal went through.
On his Instagram story, Antony wrote 'This must be a joke!??!!' in a response to Forza Sports Group's post claiming they were heavily involved in his 'record-breaking move.
