The end of Nigerian Idol Season 6, which premiered on March 14, 2021 and auditioned the prospects of young Nigerians, is finally around the corner with the last two men standing, Kingdom and Francis, battling for the ultimate prize.
Sunday’s live show was an interesting episode that came with a lot of surprises, beginning with a group performance of '24K Magic' by 8 contestants who didn't make the top 3 stage.
Following the awesome choreographic studded group performance, Akunna bowed out after receiving the least votes in the last round of public voting.
Interestingly, she didn't leave without appreciating her fans with an awesome performance of 'Set Fire To The Rain' by Adele.
Thereafter, it was a battle of pure talent as Kingdom and Francis each took turns to deliver three performances.
The first set of renditions was a repeat of their best performance in theatre week.
The second set was a rendition of songs they personally adjudge as their best.
The third set of renditions were songs specifically chosen by the judges for the duo to perform.
