After months of being remanded in prison, embattled Nollywood actor Olarenwaju Oyiminka popularly known as alias Baba Ijesha has been granted bail in the sum of two million naira and two sureties.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Special Offenses Court also on Thursday ordered that one of the sureties must be a blood relative of the defendant and the other, a lawyer.
Recall that Baba IIjesha is facing a six-count charge bordering on the indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault by penetration.

The case was not able to come up for hearing because of the Judiciary workers strike, a situation that led to Baba Ijesha staying long in detention.
