The South African Presidency has moved to assure South Africans that law enforcement agencies are monitoring any threats to the public.

The assurance was made after the Embassy of the United States of America issued a security alert to its citizens in South Africa that terrorist may be planning to conduct an attack targeting large gatherings of people” in Sandton an area of Johannesburg.

 The South African government  noted the terror alert issued by the US Embassy on its website is a way for the united states government communicate with it citizens And said the nation’s security forces will ensure that all people within the country feel safe.
