The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Monday said that out of the 20 ships expected at the Lagos Port Complex, five were carrying petroleum products.

It listed petroleum products as butane gas, petrol, and automobile gasoline.

It said that the remaining 15 ships were carrying bulk salt, general cargo, bulk wheat, container, boat, bulk sugar, bulk fertilizer, and frozen fish.

It indicated that three ships were waiting to berth at the port with bulk urea, general cargo, container, and petrol.

Also, the organization said that 17 other ships had arrived at the port and were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, soya bean meal, bulk sugar, butane gas, truck, frozen fish, petrol, and bulk urea.

The NPA said that the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex as from Feb. 6 to Feb. 17.
