As the power outage in Kaduna state enters day two, the management of Kaduna Electric has expressed deep regret over the unfortunate situation

The outage is necessitated by the involvement of the National Union of the Electricity Employees of Nigeria in the ongoing strike called by the Nigeria Laabour Congress.

Kaduna Electric apology was contained in a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi and made available to timeline.ng on Monday.

The statement read, “The Management of Kaduna Electric again expresses its deepest regrets over the persisting power outage being experienced in Kaduna State by its customers.

“The Management empathises with and apologises to individuals, families, groups and businesses who rely on its services daily and are currently facing inconveniences due to its withdrawal.

“As the outage enters a second day, the Management is still hopeful that the conflicting parties will resume discussion to allow normalcy return as soon as possible,” the statement concluded.
