Many persons have been reported injured in an explosion that has just occurred in some parts of Mile 3 market in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Rivers state this Monday.
It is said that the incident occurred around 6:30am which sent people especially at Mile 3 motor park running to different places for safety. Though no life was lost.
A source within the market said the explosion caused panic in the area. Spokesman of the Rivers Police Command, SP. Nnamdi Omoni, said police were on their way to the area to verify the incident.
