In a bid to ameliorate the plight of workers under the employ of Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), the Minister of FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, on Monday, 18th November 2024 approved the immediate payment of seventy-thousand-naira new national minimum wage for staff of the Administration.

In a brazen act of defiance, the Lagos State government on Friday, November 8, 2024, invaded a disputed property in the Lekki area belonging to retired Admiral Festus Porbeni, despite a Federal High Court order barring any such action.
