A former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus; and members of the Presidential Campaign Council of the party for the 2023 general elections in Rivers State have declared loyalty and support for President Bola Tinubu and the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

Mr. Abdulmalik Njidda, the star witness of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and its candidate, Murtala Ajaka, on Monday, told the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja that he was not in the state on the day of the poll.

...No Deputy Governor Candidate Chosen Yet in Edo State, Says PDP Acting National Chairman

The National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Damagu Umar has confirmed that Edo State has not yet selected a candidate for the position of Deputy Governor. 

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is currently meeting with the 36 State party Chairmen.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has selected Hon. Dennis Idahosa as its deputy governorship candidate in the September 21 Edo governorship election.
