Nigeria has been elected as Vice Chair of the Bureau of the 5th session of Youth and Sports Ministerial Conference of OIC Member States taking place in Saudi Arabia.

Nigeria's election  as Vice Chair of the Bureau of the 5th session of Youth and Sports Ministerial Conference of OIC Member States is considered another giant stride achieved under the reign of Sunday Dare the Minister of sports and youths development.

The conference currently taking place in Saudi Arabia amongst OIC Member States in Saudi Arabia puts the country amongst leading sporting nation poised to grow their sports and youthful population .

Nigeria leads the African group of 27 countries out of 57 member states drawn from Africa, Asia and Arab states.
